Der Adapter verbindet eine 2" Steckhülse mit einem M48 Gewinde, und hat den größten freien Durchmesser für (Vollformat) Fotografie. Um Verkippungen vorzubeugen, hat dieser Adapter KEINE Sicherungsnut und ist mit minimaler Toleranz gebaut: DerAussendurchmesser muss auf den gesamten 30mm Schlupflänge zwischen 50,72 und 50,78mm liegen - das heisst, es bleibt weniger als 0,1mm Spiel.
Der Adapter hat teleskopseitig in der 2" Hülse ein M48x0.75 Innengewinde und kann dadurch auch als 32mm Verlängerung (davon 30mm Schlupflänge und 2mm Auflagerand) verwendet werden.
