The Skywatcher EQ5 mount pleases any commited hobby astronomer, both for pure observational as well as for astrophotography. The payload limit allows bigger telescopes to be mounted (up to C8, 200mm short Newtonians and 5" refractors). We deliver the EQ5 together with the 45mm stainless steel tripod, which also carries the EQ6 model. This is the mount with the best cost-performance ratio in the astro-market, offering great stability and suitability for astrophotography.
