Die Verkürzung IPOS steht für Infinity Parallel Optical System. Infinity Systeme bedeuten einen höheren Maßstab in der Mikroskopie, vor allem wegen der unendlich fokussierten (deshalb parallelen) Lichtführung. Dies ermöglicht -genau wie bei den biologischen Infinity Mikroskopen- zwischen den Objektiv und den Kopf verschiedene Zubehörteile (z.B. Teilwürfel für Fotografie oder metallurgische Auflichtbeleuchtung, Polarisationseinheit usw...) zu platzieren. Dieses umfangreiche optionale Zubehör ermöglicht den Einsatz des Mikroskops in der Durchführung von Forschung in vielen Bereichen der Wissenschaft, Industrie und Medizin. Hervorragende optische Qualität dank Planachromat-Objektiv und Extra-Weitwinkel Okularen, ein modernes, ergonomisches Design, komfortable Beobachtung. Die LED-Beleuchtung bietet langanhaltenden störungsfreien Betrieb (mehrere tausend Stunden). Helligkeitssteuerung - oben und unten (unabhängig Einstellbar).
