Skywatcher
Maksutov-Cassegrain for moon, planetary and outdoor observations.
Especially moon, planets, double stars as well as
nature observation and photography from 100m distance. The rings of
Saturn, or Jupiter with its four great moons and the cloud bands on its
surface, the Jupiter solar eclipses are already vissible with this
device. The recommended maximum magnification is 250x. On the surface of
the moon about 3 km of details will be visible. The focus is adjusted
(as usual with Maksutovs) by adjusting the main mirror. They also have
no problems with the adaptation of binocular approaches, the sharpness
is always achieved. The mechanics are very solid - there is no
disturbing shifting (offset in the center of the arm). All devices have a
direct T-2 connection on the ocular side, so that a SLR camera can be
attached via a suitable T-2 ring.
