Lightweight and handy Newton telescope, an ideal telescope for beginners.
With the popular telescopes of the MIRA series, the entire light curve
of the changing star MIRA (Omikron Ceti) can be observed under good
conditions.
The SkyWatcher MIRA-130 Newton telescope is a particularly light and handy telescope for beginners.
The comparatively small and inexpensive mounting as the AZ5 is
sufficient for a stable installation. It offers a very large aperture
and is therefore ideally suited for observing DeepSky
objects. The main and secondary mirrors are each housed in an adjustable
frame. With the short focal length, it offers a very bright optical
appearance, so this device is also suitable for the first steps in astrophotography.
A parabolic mirror is a prerequisite for good imaging with mirrors that
are so strong. Many devices in this class have only a cheap ball
mirror, which gives a bad fiew at higher magnifications. Skywatcher uses
diffraction-limited parabolic mirrors, which provide a much sharper
image of the observers object. The many accessories and the large
aperture make it an ideal telescope for beginners.
