Diese Balance-Platte (Offset-Plate) ermöglicht es, den FSQ-106ED leichter in den Schwerpunkt zu bekommen. Dieses Gerät hat einen recht kurzen Tubus, wo es oft nicht möglich ist, den Tubus in den Schellen weit genug zu verschieben. Mit dieser Platte ist eine Montage im Schwerpunkt kein Problem mehr.

Diese Platte ist natürlich auch für andere Takahashi-Teleskope geeignet, z.B. für den FC-100DC bzw. FC-100DF.
