This model was designed to put the Mewlon-210 optical tube assembly on Takahashi equatorial mounts. By extension, it can receive optical tubes from refractors or reflectors of other brands equipped with a male dovetail bar in Vixen format.

The female dovetail saddle is in Vixen format. It is clamped by means of a support plate to prevent the marking of the male dovetail bar. It is fixed on Takahashi mounts by two M8 screws.
