Das WDF-4 Stativ ist bereits vollständig aus Metall gefertigt, es ist geeignet für Geräte bis ca. 4kg Eigengewicht.
Die Mittelsäule ist durch eine Handkurbel höhenverstellbar, sie kann nach der Einstellung geklemmt werden, somit besteht keine Gefahr einer Verkippung. Das Stativ hat ein sehr geringes Eigengewicht von lediglich 2.5kg, die maximale Höhe beträgt zirka 150cm.
Der Kopf ist ebenfalls aus Metall gefertigt und sehr belastungsfähig (siehe oben)
An den Enden der Stativbeine sind Auflageflächen aus Gummi angebracht, diese können jedoch zurückgeschraubt werden, dann bleibt mittig eine Metallspitze zurück. Somit können sie das Stativ problemlos an den Beobachtungsplatz anpassen.
