Welches Teleskop soll ich mir als Einsteiger kaufen?
Gute Frage, die Antwort lautet: Das kommt ganz auf den Verwendungszweck an. Die Teleskop-Typen haben alle ihre Vor- und Nachteile.
- Linsenteleskop (Videoanleitung oben): aufrechtes Bild, auch für Naturbeobachtung verwendbar, wartungsfrei, bequemer Einblick, kinderfreundlich. Einsteiger schätzen dieses Teleskop für die Wartungsfreiheit.
- Spiegelteleskop (Videoanleitung unten): viel Teleskop fürs Geld, besonders günstig als Dobson montiert, farbrein, sowohl niedrige als auch hohe Vergrößerung, dafür sind die größeren Modelle unhandlich.
- Maksutov/Schmidt-Cassegrain: sehr kompakt, aufrechtes Bild, auch für Naturbeobachtung verwendbar, leicht zu transportieren.

Für rein astronomische Verwendung ist der wichtigste Faktor, dass das Teleskop viel Licht sammelt. Die Regel ist für den Einsteiger einfach: Je größer desto besser! Weil bei großen Öffnungen auch Linsenteleskope astronomisch teuer werden, hat das Spiegelteleskop da die Nase vorn. Eine Weisheit besagt aber: "Das beste Teleskop ist das, welches am häufigsten benutzt wird." Und das muss nun nicht zwangsläufig das teuerste oder größte sein, und schon gar nicht das schwerste.
