Der Explore Scientific Coma Corrector ist eine Klasse für sich: Er ist auch uneingeschränkt visuell verwendbar, und verlängert die Brennweite nur um 6%. Der Explore Scientific Coma Correktor besitzt einen 85mm langen 2" Schaft und kann wie ein Okular mit fast jedem 2" Okularauszug verwendet werden.
Um den HR Coma Corrector visuell zu verwenden, muß noch mindestens ein
Verstellweg von 32mm am Fokussierer vorhanden sein, wenn der Fokus auf
der Ebene des Okularauszugs liegt. Bei fotografischer Verwendung ist das
unkritisch - der HR Coma Correktor legt den Fokus um ca. 35mm weiter
nach außen. Wer mit Kamera ohne Korrektor in den Fokus kommt, hat kein Problem mit Korrektor. Er wird komplett mit einem Helical-Feinfokussierer geliefert - man hat also alles komplett im Set: Adapter für T2 (M42x0.75), Adapter für M48x0.75 und Helical-Fein-Fokussierer für visuelle Beobachtung.
Der Komakorrektor hat einen visuellen Polystrehl von 0,98 bei f/4 und
0,96 bei f/3! Er kann also immer im Teleskop verbleiben - dann wird
nicht nur der Jupiter scharf, sondern auch seine Monde. Was das
tatsächlich dann bedeutet, sieht man auf den Folien in den anderen
Bildern (für einen 400mm f/4, f/3,5 und f/3). Bitte beachten: DAS IST
ALLES FÜR DAS FLACHE FELD GERECHNET - OHNE NACHFOKUSSIEREN!
Bilddurchmesser ist 30mm - mehr macht bei 2" und schnellen Optiken
keinen Sinn. Baulänge des Korrektorrohres ist ca. 85mm.
